International HPC Summer School 2024

Call for applications has opened and will close on Jan 31, 2023.

The prestigious international HPC summer school (IHPCSS) 2024 is going to take place in July 2024 in Kobe, Japan, hosted by RIKEN CSS.

The call for participation has been opened with a deadline of Jan 31, 2024. In the past, students from Max Planck Institutes were regularly applying and participating. Max Planck students are therefore encouraged to also apply for the 2024 summer school. For details and applications, please visit the 2024 IHPCSS web site, at https://ss24.ihpcss.org

School fees, meals and housing will be covered for all accepted applicants, as well as reasonable airfare costs. The sponsoring of the seats for participants from European institutions has been taken over by EuroHPC JU, after the end of PRACE-6IP. Other participants will come from the United States (sponsored by the ACCESS project, after the end of the XSEDE project), from Canada (sponsored by the SciNET HPC Consortium), Australia (sponsored by the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre), from Japan (sponsored by RIKEN CSS), South Africa sponsored by NCIS CHPC), and UK (sponsored by EPCC).
